Phyllis and Micah had their last Spanish Translation class in Nashville yesterday. So some of us met for lunch half-way between Chattanooga and Nashville at O’Charleys. Seth and Andrea were unable to be with us because of study commitments. It was Nathan, the Churchills, and all the Waldeckers who could be there. And a good time was had by all!

I really enjoyed the dinner and seeing you all. I loathed having to go to work that night, but your prayers were effective, as I had a decently good time – Praise God! I had a good time because I got to bus tables (instead of seating guests), I actually functioned as a kind of “help-all” (since there were three bussers instead of two), and last, but not least, throughout the hour trip to work I realized that my attitude changed from a sulking resistence to working at TGIF to one of “this isn’t so bad, especially if Jesus loves me!” So, thank you for all your prayers!

It was refreshing to visit with you. Its always good to spend time with those who love you. And Gary, thanks for cutting those table legs for me. I put the table back together and its just perfect! This week James and I will work on tiling it.
