This morning at 5:00 AM Micah left for his new job teaching Spanish at Stony Brook School on Long Island. He’s moving away from home. After he graduated from college in 2005 we weren’t sure how long he would stay around–and it’s been nice to have him here a little longer than we might have hoped– but we’re glad for this new opportunity he has. We will be leaving tomorrow to go up there and help him settle in. We’ll be home next Wednesday.
A new stage in our lives

We had an open house for him Saturday night for people to come and say goodbye. On Sunday the pastor prayed for him in this new job and thanked him for his work as a deacon in the church.
I’ll miss having him around! I am glad we get to go up and help him move in and see family on the way! Yippee!
Micah, I’ve been praying for you in this new adventure! I know your family will miss you. I can’t wait to learn about all your new job! I will continue to pray.
I’m glad you were honored upon your leaving by your church and your family and friends.
I’ll come and visit you in New York sometime, Micah! Let me know when your Fall Break is.
Is there such a thing as Fall Break in highschool?
Can you share his new address?
Tonight, Audrey and I expected Micah back for dinner and remembered that he was gone! We will miss him.
1 Chapman Road
Stony Brook, NY 11790
This is Micah’s new address.
Actually, I found out that the address is 1 Chapman PARKWAY, instead of road.
