‘Desmayado’

by sejwa on June 8, 2008

I have recently been playing many of the Spanish songs I learned in Chile. Here is one of them. It is called ‘Hubiera yo desmayado’, which means, “I would have fainted”. It is based on Psalm 27:13-14, which says,

“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD!”

I modified the tune a little at the end.

Really nice. I like the way you made it more hopeful at the end!
