Around Berlin

Yesterday we went to the Zoo with the three younger girls and Kai-Uwe’s aunt, Tante Doris.

Today we walked through the center of the city with Kim and Bre, the American missionaries.

This is the Humboldt University, where Einstein taught!

Here is the building of parliament, the Reichstag

here is the famous Hotel Adlon where the Clintons stay.

We did much more, but I am so tired and so cannot put on more pictures 😉

Cool! Are you all spending the mornings touring around Berlin?

I do believe the Berliner Dom is a catholic cathedral. Micah, most weekday mornings we tour Berlin, either within walking distance or around the town. We also usually do a bit of cleaning around the house.

The Adlon Hotel was used by American jouralists prior to World War II according to the book Zion Covenant, volume 1, See Vienna Prelude Page 113 and following. Good pictures you have taken. Also enjoyed those taken in Potsdam. I remember reading the accounts of that conference. It was where agreement was made to divide Germany and Berlin into East and West. It was not a very good conference for the Germans or anyone else except Russia. Even that did not last, thanks to Ronald Reagan. Grandpa Tom
