The Peak District

by Nathan Brauer on March 1, 2008

The last few days with my friends has been spent in and around what is called the Peak district. On Thursday we went for a three hour, 8 mile hike. We went up down and all around. At one point, we were are this summit overlooking a reseviour when we saw a plane flying LOWER than we were through the valley. We had lunch in an old abandoned farm building before completing our circuit.

Yesterday we had lunch as this great Pub called Moslehead. They allow dogs inside so we brought Drew and Vals two dogs. The Pub is right along a popular hiking trail, so many hikers were stopping for a bite and to dry off. It was POURING down rain that day. The food and beverage were very good. I would reccomend it to you if I knew where it was…other than the middle of no where.

I’ll get some pictures up soon. Today we are going to try for more walks (if the weather cooperates) and see a football game.
