“Lonely” Children…

by Audrey on November 12, 2007

This past weekend, our parents have been in Delaware visiting a church, so Micah, Andrea and I have been “lonely children.” But we have been keeping busy. Friday night, Andrea and I hosted some of the youth group girls from our church. That was fun. Saturday was a very studious day, and we also went shopping for groceries. Sunday, someone from our church (Darrell and Margaret Stewart, if any of you know them) invited us over for Sunday lunch. It was a such a good time! So, here we are on Monday, anticipating the time of our parents late arrival, getting as much school done as we can! 🙂

It sounds like you did well. I’m glad they’ll be home soon.

Sounds like you had fun, but I know you’ll be glad to see your mom and dad come home.

They should be getting home this morning sometime (Tuesday the 13, Nov.), but Andrea and I will be at school and Micah will be working, and then when we get back from school/working my mom will be at work.
But Daddy will be home!

We were glad to get home. Everyone kept asking for the kids and it felt funny being there without them. We were kept pretty busy with the conference and in between I tried to spend as much time with my parents who are well physically but do have some issues. We were sorry not to get to see the Brauer clan. We look forward to Thanksgiving time.
