Today I learned that I was accepted into the graduate physics program at Washington University! I am so excited! I am also scared, though. I feel so unprepared in so many ways. On March 3-4 they are having prospective students come to visit, and I plan to go. Please pray that I would be able to go and that it would go well (I am not sure what I mean by ‘well’).
I will be paid to go to graduate school. Full remission of tuition of fees and a Graduate Teaching Assitantship are typical for physics graduate students. Essentially, I will be paid $1944/month for teaching/grading up to 15 hours per week. This pay rate is higher than my mom’s at Erlanger!
