Well, I know these pictures are late, but since we didn’t have the blog then, I thought I would post some pictures of Uncle Alan, Melissa, Andrea and my trip to England of November, 2003.

Westminster Abby

Here are the Bush protestors

This is perhaps the staple picture from this trip. I like it a lot.

King’s Cross Station. It is blurry, but all the evidence we have that we were at platform 9 and 3/4!

Towers of London

The room we stayed in, and the clothes we had just bought at Southall.

Conwy Castle in Wales

Welsh

I like these. We were on the train back to London from Warrington (I think) and we took pictures of our reflections.

Very nice. No sun. Typical.
I really like that last picture.
Nice pictures! Makes me want to go too.
It makes me want to go too! And it makes me want to learn Welsh 🙂
Where are the protestors standing? The protestors in Chicago were standing in front of a similar building. It was an art museum.
They don’t make churches like they used to; I really like the last picture too.
So James, in chronological order, what languages are you going to learn?
LOL, let’s see… assuming they are available when I want them, or i decide to teach myself…
1. Arabic
2. Chinese
3. Welsh
4. Swahili
5. German
6. French
7. Italian
8. Spanish
9. Greek
10. Portuguese
… and that’s just modern languages 🙂 I probably won’t get past #2 or #3 though…
The churches in England are one of the main reasons I want to go there. There’s so much history in them! (Not to mention they’re pretty much beautiful).
German # 5!!!!!! Well, I guess if I am learning German, it would be most practical for you to learn something else first, so that when we all tour the world together, we can understand everyone! 😉
Exactly… we have to have a wide variety of languages at hand, cover all the bases :D! I am sorry German is fifth… you can feel free to teach me though 🙂
Yes, the protest was in front of an art museum.
I will learn Jargon and Technogeek–maybe some gobbledygook, too, just to be safe 🙂
