Chicago: Pretty Architecture

by sejwa on August 10, 2007

My friend Alemayehu, from Ethiopia, invited me to eat at an Ethiopian restaurant last night. The food was quite good, but he persuaded me to drink some coffee. I told him that coffee keeps me up quite late; then he asked me if I had an exam the next day or some other urgent work to do. I said that I didn’t, so he said staying up this one night wouldn’t hurt me. I guess it was really important to him for me to drink Ethiopian coffee. So tonight I managed to finish reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows; and now it is 5:00 a.m. and I am still going strong. Here are some more pictures.

Nice pictures. Looks like a city! Wow, I didn’t know coffee affected you that much, Seth! 😀 Did you like the book? Has anyone else read it, yet? We did.

I sort of like the Gothic look.

I like it too. The pictures are nice. Maybe you’re sleeping by now.

Yes, I like the architecture as well. I’ve read the final Harry Potter book, but I won’t say anything for those who haven’t read it yet. But I really enjoyed it!

Wow, Seth, sounds like you’re having fun! I’ve heard that Ethiopian coffee is as thick as mud–is that true?

Chicago does look like a very nice city.

We should discuss/comment on the HP book once everyone has read it who desires to do so 🙂
