Yesterday Micah was elected as a deacon in our church. He was nominated a few months ago and went through officers’ training classes. I’m not sure yet when the ordination service will be, but we’ll let you know. If anyone wants to come you are welcome.

How nice to be affirmed that way!
Micah’s ordination is this Sunday, June 17th. The pastor asked me to give the short charge to the deacon and elders that will be ordained and/or installed.
I should also mention that Dad and Judy are coming this weekend.
