Rain, Rain, Rain…Update

My neighbor had some ideas that he thought may be the cause of the water in my garage (which is still there). He thought perhaps that when the previous owner parked his RV on the grass that perhaps he damaged or broke the drainage pipe that he put through the yard. The other thought was that when the previous owner concreted the driveway, perhaps he did not re-connect the pipes that hoos the floor drain in the garage back into the drainage pipe that runs through the yard. I spent about 3-4 hours Saturday digging a trench about 2 feet deep that is currently about 20 feet long. Nothing discovered so far. I may continue the trech for about another 1-2 feet as it seems unlikely that if I haven’t found the connection at that point, I probably found my problem. That said, my neighbor confirms that Mr. Fox never had this problem while he lived there. Having met Mr. Fox, I cannot imagine that he would have tolerated water flooding the garage whenever it rained either.

I have a friend from church who is a contractor agree to come by today to look at the situation. Please pray that he will be able to provide me with some insight on how to fix this.
