Rushing Update

Hello everyone! It was so nice to see many of you at the Mace Baby Shower. I do miss you all. I thought I would write a short update on how we are doing. Almost a year ago, Allen had brain surgery. Today, we are all quite healthy! We are so thankful. We are so happy as a family! Allen continues to work at a classical Christian school here in Columbia, TN, and Ezekiel and I get to stay home or go on field trips. 😀 I am also tutoring two brothers Spanish (they are 5 and 7), which is fun. I also did a little Biblical worldview mentoring in the Fall, and I did several hours of mentoring the new kindergarten teacher where Allen works. Allen really likes teaching in the Upper School, especially because he gets to teach some of his favorite things: theology and worldview. We enjoy practicing hospitality very much, and sometimes we have to tell ourselves to take a break because we don’t tend to realize until later that we are wearing ourselves out. 😀 Ezekiel is a very happy little boy. He is almost 20 months old. He likes birds and the sounds they make, he likes to dance, to eat, anything with wheels (but especially tractors), books, and playing outside. I will try to post some pictures later. I cannot find our camera battery charger, so once I find it, hopefully then I will post the pictures. 😀 We are currently looking for a cheaper place to live, which is hard because middle TN is growing like wildfire and prices keep going up. The Lord will provide! Would love to hear how everyone else is doing!
