Baby Rushing is about a week over his due date, and we’d like to ask prayer for the following specific things:
- First and foremost, that Christ would be honored in the whole process.
- Second, that Baby Rushing would (at least clearly start to) come on his own before our appointment with the midwife tomorrow!
- Third, that it would be clear (to us and to the medical professionals) that there would be no need for any kind of inducing or a C-section.
- Fourth, that all would go smoothly and that Allen, I, and Baby Rushing would all be healthy.
We’re so excited to meet him!

Thank you all for your prayers! I believe Christ was honored. The midwife said, “Wow, Allen is a great coach!” They wanted him to come and work for them! I believe this is a testament to his Christ-likeness in the whole process. Although I had to be induced somewhat, it was mostly a natural birth, for which we were hoping and praying. Ezekiel is an amazing blessing, for whom we are very thankful!
