Yankee Yuletidings Y’all!

by Woody on December 25, 2005

Howdy from the Kristen Brauer-Miller’s! ,
We are enjoying Christmas morning with the folks here in Reamstown. Quiche, bacon, pastries, and coffee -you can’t beat it-super yum! We are looking forward to next week seeing the GWaldeckers (i am learning heh heh heh) and even as I am writing this we are listening to “Kidz Sing”. Lots of fun, Audrey has a great voice and I am a personal fan of any music with a spanish flavor.
Kristen, Ginny and I are doing well and I have to say a special thanks to Grandma Judy for the potion which has staved off many a cold this fall. If any uh y’all haven’t tried it yet you really should. I must say that as a body seems to adjust to anything I am now pouring the potion directly into a glass with water leaving the dropper bottle in the past. Next is the shot glass? Anyone?
Oh well I think I got off the subject there a little. I guess I should write more to Grandma Judy later….ha ha.
Unfornunately with Christmas being on a Sunday this year we are all back to work on Mon., Not much of a Holiday break this year but good times none the less. The Lord has been gracious to our family not only in the last year of our married life together but paricularly in the last few months in providing us a home ten minutes from my sons and twenty from my sister. We have also been provided with a reformed church ten minutes from home where we have been welcomed and where we are already enjoying fellowship and hospitality. There has been a lot of transition for us this year through which God has been faithful to us answering prayer regarding my new effort at contracting with my younger brother, Kristens mommying (Ginny and me both) and housekeeping and all the adjustments that these changes require. God has been tender and gracious (hence Virginia Grace) to us all warming our hearts to him all the more!
We hope all y’all are doing well and I am glad at the oppurtunity here to keep up with my new (and Kristens’ old) extended family and begin to get to know all of you more! Merrrrrrrrrrry Chrissssssmas!!!!!!!! and a Hoppy New Year

Thanks for posting this, Adam. How about posting a picture of your boys. And although we’ve seen pictures of Virginia Grace, it would be nice to post one here also. (And/or at albums.waldecker.net). To find out how, there are instructions at the post called The Beginning. Either do a search on The Beginning or click on the first week (Nov 14) in the calendar.

Adam, Kristen, and Ginny,
I like the name Ginny, I have an aunt Ginny. Good to hear from you. How much snow do you have? We wish we had some. We might get a trace tonight, Christmas night. Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas.
