You all may have already heard, but wanted to make sure everyone knows that I am engaged to a wonderful, godly man named Allen Rushing! We plan to get married sometime next summer. Here is a picture of us the day after we got engaged:
We are both VERY happy and excited! Allen just finished up his M.A. in history, and is now on the job hunt. Where he finds a job, there we will move!
How did we meet? Well, through a mutual friend. Our family is quite close to the pastor and his wife of one of the churches that supports us in southern Illinois. Allen goes to this church. 😀 The pastor’s wife thought Allen and I would get along well, and asked if we would be interested in emailing each other. This was September of 2015. We enjoyed writing to one another very much. 😉 We met in person for the first time at the beginning of January 2016. We started dating in March, and now we are engaged!
As soon as we have a date, I’ll let you all know! I hope you all can come!!!! It will probably be here in the Chattanooga area.
