Tucker Woods

A couple of weeks ago, Andrea, Mom, and I took a walk to a waterfall in the neighborhood of Tucker Branch. Afterwards, we decided to follow the water downstream a bit. Below are some pictures of our little adventure. One of the highlights was seeing a large turtle, which we think was a snapping turtle.

There are three sets of scratch marks on this tree. Could it be from a buck scratching his antlers on the tree?

Some kind of turtle is in the water, just above the center of the photo. It appears to be a snapping turtle.
