One of the things we did over the Christmas break was to go ice skating. Charlotte set up a temporary outdoor rink “uptown” (they say uptown instead of downtown here). Wish you could have been here.

The kids kept shedding clothes because… well, it just wasn’t ice skating weather here in Charlotte. Janice and I sat on gthe sidelines and watched.
We were all really hot, & then Linnea drank hot chocolate! It was fun! Until our feet got sore, that is.
Do they do this often? Looks like a great idea.
They set it up every year near the beginning of December and keep it there through January 15th.
That looks like fun! I went ice skating once and liked it. I wish I could do it again!
that does look like a lot of fun. I can only remember ice skating once before – i remember it was fast……i like fast.
