Berlin, how shall I describe it? It is very multicultural and very large and spread out. For these reasons Berlin was quite overwhelming to me! But I enjoyed my time there 🙂

This place was across from the Berliner Dom/across the canal. Some fellow classmates and I hung out here on the waterside. It was so interesting getting to know people from all over the world!

The gals from the family I was staying with and I went to visit a lady (missionary) who has recently moved to Germany. This lady, Pamyla, was very kind to me! I had missed my bus and she graciously let me stay at her apartment so I could catch the bus the next morning. Crazy adventures!

I went to see a film on preventing human trafficing in the textile industry. The people who did the film are in conjunction with a church in Berlin, and the film was presented in this Movie Theater. A missionary acquaintance of mine and I went.

I went to a summer festival put on by the church plant near where I was living. This guy put on quite a show with his ladder!

I invited some people from the Goethe Institute to come to the summer festival. 5 people came! It was fun!

As part of our homework one day, we were split up into small groups and then we had to explore certain parts of the city. Here we are at a memorial of the holocaust.

This used to be an airport (Tempelhof Flughafen), and is now a park! But you can still take off 🙂
