More sightseeing in Hamburg

by Audrey on June 13, 2015

Today a friend, who is from Hamburg but was in the German department with me last school year, took be around Hamburg. It was a bit crazy because it started raining and storming! But it was a good adventure. Here are some pictures:

The Elbe

This is the Elbe River: gorgeous!

Hamburg

Vivian and I under a parking area, trying to stay dry during the thunderstorm. We probably waited under there fro 20 to 30 minutes!

Hamburg

This was cool! A building that looks like it has part of a ship coming out of it! I heard that the architecture of Hamburg is quite influenced by ships. Cool!

St. Pauli

In this St. Pauli area there was a lot of graffiti! Some pretty like this one, and some not so pretty.

Hamburg

This cage thing can be opened and the stairs lead to an underground room! I think they have parties down there or something. The St. Pauli area of Hamburg is apparently known for partying

Hamburg

It was an interesting day, to say the least. The St. Pauli area was rather sad––the people there just seemed purposeless and, well, sad! I hope and pray the Lord will do an awesome work there!
