Oh dear, yesterday I saw all these birds in our yard! There was a huge flock of different birds swooping through the woods! There were bluebirds and little black birds, robins and probably others. Also, at the feeder there were these little yellow birds. They looked like finches, but we’re not sure. There was also a red tinted bird that looked like a sparrow! It was so neat to see so many of the birds God has created!
And, just a few minutes ago, a hawk or falcon flew into our woods! I almost got a picture! I think it was trying to get a squirel! I like birds!

I like birds too. I’m glad you were able to see so many. It sounds like you may have seen yellow and purple finches. Do you think?

Oh, oh, oh! And there was a huge pileated woodpecker at our suet feeder! That was really wonderful!
Hmmm…Micah and I shall have to investigate what kind of birds those were. I will look up purple finches.
