Phyllis and I returned this afternoon from an 11 day trip visiting our supporters in:
- Paris, TX
- Tulsa, OK
- Gainesville, TX
- Richardson, TX (North of Dallas)
- Gainesville, TX, again
We traveled over 2,200 miles.
So far we have received confirmations in continuing support amounting to 21% of what we are currently receiving monthly in support. For all the traveling we have done you’d think that figure should be higher by now. But the decision-making process in churches is often slow.
Our travels this fall (since September) have brought us to visit supporters (and missionary colleagues) in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, St. Louis, Southern Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Texas and Oklahoma. That’s over 8,700 miles.
Our last salary from MTW is January 25th, so pray that all these people we’ve visiting will indeed keep supporting us.
Our next travels will be in January.
