Recently I found out that the bank I work for is closing three of its branches in November, one of which is the one where I work. Management is encouraging us to apply to positions at the other branches, so this week I have interviews at some of the other branches. On top of that, my coworker and I are applying for the same position. Although we are very good friends, it is kind of awkward and I hope that whatever happens doesn’t put a wedge between us. While I am a little nervous about the prospect of having to look for another job, I am also excited about the Lord has next for me. Please pray that in all of this I would be a faithful witness to those around me and that the Lord would provide for me.

Andrea, we are praying that God will provide just the right job for you and that you and your friend will both get a job. But whoever (maybe neither) gets the job, it is all under God’s control. What I am saying is that if you do get the job instead of you coworker, you don’t need to feel bad for her. It was God’ s will. Grandpa Tom.
Praying for you!
Praying!!
Praying. So, what do you know yet?
Andrea, I will be praying about this.
Thank you so much for praying everybody! I just found out today that I do get to transfer to another job. And thank you for your advice, Grandpa Tom! I have definitely felt at peace through all this knowing that God is in control. I think my coworker gets to transfer, too, but I’m not sure.
I’m glad you get to transfer. When will you know where you get transferred to?
I am going to transfer to the branch in Hamilton Place. I’m very happy about this placement because it is so close to church it will be easier to get involved. Also, I’ve heard good things about the people who work there and the manager seems like a really good manager.
I’m happy for you, Andrea! What an answer to prayer!
