Vice President Churchill

by Jannylynn on September 5, 2014

I wanted to let you know of David’s new promotion at work. Here is a blurb from CCA’s website:

David Churchill, Vice President, Human Resources

David Churchill joined CCA in August 2012 as Sr. Director, Organization Development. Churchill has over 25 years of human resources, talent management, and organization development experience serving in various senior-level roles, including Sr. Vice President, Human Resources & Development at Bank of America and Vice President, Talent Management at Tractor Supply Company. Churchill holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Eastern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from Aurora University. He is nearing his completion of a doctoral degree in organizational leadership from The George Washington University.

If you think of praying for him, pray that he will have wisdom to manage all new demands upon him.  Thank you.

Is this a promotion on top of the one that occurred a few months ago? I’ll be praying.

Thanks everyone. Yes, this is my second promotion in two months. This one is the result of an unfortunate and untimely death of my grandboss back in May. The dissertation is coming along slowly but surely. I am on page 44 of Chapter 4. In my new role, I have responsibility for all facets of Human Resources except for Compensation and Benefits. My responsibilities include Learning & Development, Organization Development, Performance Management, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition (Recruiting), Employee Relations, Labor Relations (Unions), Legal (HR Attorneys), Employee Engagement, Workplace Safety, and Compliance. This involves anout 50 personnel at the corporate office and about 100 human resources personnel in the facilities.
