I agree that it would indeed be great if we celebrated Christ like we celebrate winning in sports.I write this as I am watching Vanderbilt in the College World Series and cheering them on.
Cool! Why do you think that many Christians to not celebrate people turning to Christ more?
Amen–it would be wonderful if people rejoiced like that for someone who turned to Christ. I if some people were to express such exuberance for Christ, most Christians would probably shrink away. Why do you think there is such timidity in the church to rejoice over what is truly worth rejoicing over?
I never thought of that contrast! It would indeed be wonderful if people rejoiced like that in matters of the Kingdom.
