Ok – it took quite a bit of “do-ins”, but I finally figured out the directions to Philip’s game tonight if anyone is interested in going. The game is at Kernersville Elementary School – Sutton Stadium, 512 West Mountain Street, Kernersville, North Carolina, 27284. The game starts at 7:00. If you need to contact Sharon Leuzinger, her cell phone number is 276-619-1268. Philip will be starting at tail back tonight, as two of their key players are suspended for this game for academic issues. So he should be playing a LOT. I hope the Churchills can go!

I think we are going to go. As long as David can get off work when he’s planning to, we will.
We also were given NASCAR tickets for tonight. We’ve had an amusing time talking about going, since we’ve had lots of local “advice” as to what to expect and of course being influenced by Jeff Foxworthy’s reference to rednecks and the Legends of NASCAR…but we’d rather watch Philip play football. David will give the tickets to someone else.

We made it to the game in the 2nd quarter. They were down 22-0. Then Phillip’s team score 2-8 at the half. No scoring in the 3rd quarter. Phillip’s team made it a close game until the very end. Don’t remember the final score. Too bad Phillip had to play tailback. They needed to throw it long to him like they did in Bristol. I hope they beat the Louisville team and get another chance at this team from Winston-Salem.
BTW, I may be flying to Manchester in a couple of weeks (around 11/1). I have a two-day meeting at one of our facilities in Chester.

Yipee! that would be so neat if you could go to Manchester! Wow, I hope it works out to see the Waldeckers!

David…let us know when your plans come together. I will actually be flying out on the 1st for the States – and I’ll be there through the 14th. Doing a bit more fundraising. Not sure where all my travels will take me, but I do plan to be in Abingdon and in Chattanooga for sure. I hope our paths cross somewhere along the way.
How wonderful! I do hope we will see you, Uncle Alan!
