For a long time now I have been seeking a different job (on and off for about 3 years). At first I was looking for a bookkeeping job, but when I realized all employers were looking for experienced bookkeepers, I started looking for a teller position at a bank. The more I thought about it, the more I thought I would like to be a bank teller, as I really do enjoy customer service. I prayed that God would be glorified in whatever job I ended up getting. I wanted it to be clear that whatever job I got was from Him. When I first applied to this position, I didn’t think the bank would be interested in me for several reasons (although I did think there was a chance), but they kept asking me back for interviews. I am glad God didn’t give me a job right away. He taught me to depend upon Him in increasing measure. Please pray that I would not now trust in this new job but continue to depend on God, that I would not forget Him as the Israelites forgot Him when they prospered in the Promised Land. Please also pray that I would be a faithful ambassador of Christ’s love to the people with whom I will be working and serving. I start December 9th!
A new job!
