Just an update on boating for those of you with whom we’ve spoken about this recently. We have a boat reserved for this Saturday at Center Hill Lake (north of McMinnville, TN). So far, Janice, myself, Emily, and Linnea are going. The boat holds 10. If you wish to and are available to join us, let us know (chipping in for gas appreciated). We’ll go with the first six to respond just to be fair. Please let me know by Noon Thursday. If others are unable to join, I may still be able to cancel, so no pressure.

Nathan, I received a voice mail from your dad this evening. Too late to call back. I just got home from South Georgia on a business trip. I am going to try to get a rain check for Saturday’s boat outing because the forecast high for Smithville, TN (where the lake is) is 69 degrees with an 80% chance of rain. Too cool and too rainy. I will keep you all posted.
We are pretty busy trying get things ready to leave on Monday. So I don’t think we could have taken a whole day at this time.
Update: I am still gonna try for another Saturday. I can’t do it on 10/5 and anytime after that might be too cool. So, I am gonna try for next Saturday. My family isn’t available for for that day (9/28), however, Well, Janice could be if other girls/women go. So, let me know if you’re interested and I’ll make the decision based on how many can go. AW’s welcome too.
Suggestion: Since we can’t do it this Saturday, are the GW’s (and anyone else) interested in meeting in Manchester for a meal to say goodbye to Gary and Phyllis? That is, if Gary and Phyllis are available.
I want to go, but this semester has been my busiest one so far. This Saturday wouldn’t have worked for me anyway. I am giving two exams next week, so depending on how quickly I do the grading, I may be able to come on 9/28, but I probably wouldn’t know until that Friday. Would Friday evening be too late to confirm?
Phyllis, Gary, Andrea, and Audrey will be there (Logan’s at exit 114 I-24) at 1:00 central time.
