For my German class up at the college, we have so much reading to do…in German! It wouldn’t be that much, but it is so hard to understand and it takes so long! Looking up words makes it even longer to read! I like German, but I would appreciate prayer that I would not give up and really enjoy it and get better at it. If I don’t see progress in a project I am doing, it is hard to continue. But I know God has a plan for me, and will help me. I just need to believe it with my whole heart!
I have a praise, too! I was finding it hard to enjoy my German class because I was intimidated by some people in the class (because they are better than me, and it helps that they have been to Germany!) Today, it was lovely, because there were several occasions in the class time that we all laughed together. God brought me comfort unexpectedly! I hope I will continue to get to know the peolpe in the class! Bis später!
Reading German, Reading German…Aaaaaaah!

I’m prayin’!
Are the assignments conducive at all to group study? Maybe you would feel less intimidated if you could study with the others and be able to learn from those who are better than you. Or maybe if you have a question you could ask one of your classmates before you ask the professor. You could have your classmates over to our house for a German reading session! I don’t know if that would work; it’s just an idea that occurred to me.
Well, my German is getting better. I feel like I have a better handle on it, though it is still difficult. I like it though. Hmmm…Seth, I think it would be neat to study with others. I shall have to look into it…Thank you for praying, everybody, and for your encouragment.

Audrey,
I will pray for your German-determination factor.
