Happy Birthday, James!

So, 22. What’s that feel like, psychologically? I like how you enjoy spending time with your family, and how you can be mischievous sometimes 😀

Happy Birthday, James! Wow, you’re sure growing up. I can’t believe this time is already here. You’ve been a joy to raise. And of course I will be praying as God directs your steps according to His good pleasure.

Hmmm… Psychologically, I’m not sure. I guess I had thought that I would have more of my life figured out by this point; but I know God works in his own providential timing. And I’m almost afraid to ask what past occurrence has compelled you to find me mischievous… 🙂

Thanks for all the birthday wishes 🙂

James,
Happy Birthday! I enjoyed your birthday meal choice… baked potatoes. I hope you have a great day. I continue to pray for God’s leading in your life.

I was not accepted to Cornell, Vanderbilt, or Penn. I was accepted to Indiana linguistics (MA), but was not offered financial aid. I was accepted to UGA linguistics (MA), but have yet to hear about financial aid. I’m still waiting to hear from Harvard, Chicago, and Indiana (Chinese). But so far, it looks like I’ll be working rather than schooling in the coming fall 🙂
