Another silly song by Larry Gary

by Gary on December 6, 2005

This is a song I wrote in my teen years. I think it was while I was in high school at Minco.

Tears in my Ears

  • I looked at you
  • You looked at me.
  • I said to you,
  • “How do you do?” and smiled but
  • You didn’t even see me.
  • You didn’t even seeee meee–
  • Your eyes were miles and miles away from my smile.
  • (And that’s why. . .)
  • There on my back
  • I lay sad and worn.
  • I was thinkin’ about you–
  • My heart was torn in two and
  • Now as I sing
  • I’m feelin’ blue
  • ‘Cause I got tear in my ears from cryin’ over you.
  • I got tears–
  • Got ’em in my ears.
  • Can’t even hear anymore
  • ‘Cause my ears are so full
  • Of tears.
