Trip to Costa Rica

by Gary on November 14, 2011

Today I’m leaving for a week-long trip to Costa Rica. The purpose of this trip is to make progress on setting up the missionary apprenticeship program. During this visit my goal is to observe how the Costa Rican churches and leaders do ministry. That way I will know better how I can fit the missionary apprentices into what the ministry of the Costa Rican churches. A big part of the apprenticeship program is learning how to live and minister in a cross-cultural situation. So I need the apprentices to interact a lot, both in and outside of ministry, with Costa Rica leaders. My return flight is a week from today. I’ll be staying with a Costa Rican family. I’m told I will have internet access. Thanks for your prayers.

Dad, I thought of you regularly during your trip and was praying for you. I hope your return trip was uneventful and that you will be able to recuperate from the travel.

How would you say the trip went?
