Here is a more detailed account of what we did:
G-Waldeckers left Tuesday evening and spent the night in a hotel. We spent Wednesday morning with Micah and Stephanie, where we played “Pilgrim’s Progress,” had lovely conversation and had a delicious, genuine Stephanie-made lunch of cheese-filled shells, yummy salad, home-made carrot cake and ice cream! We arrived at the beach house about dinner time. We had dinner with Poppop and Grandma-Judy, then went to the beach at high-tide. When we returned to the beach house (called “No Regrets”) the Churchills had arrived!
Thursday we went to the beach twice (morning and evening), played games, relaxed, talked and had yummy food. We played the family game in the evening and Aunt Janice won! Pictures from Thursday:

We gals got up early to see the sunrise: we went out to the dock to take pictures and see the rising sun better.

Building a small sand castle. Later, James dug a canal from the castle to the ocean. By the evening, high tide had destroyed most of the canal and castle.
Friday we went to the beach only once because there was a heat index of about 107 degrees: we went in the morning and then in the afternoon my Dad gave a devotional about how Jesus sat down when he finished his work on the cross and rose from the dead. Then we prayed for one another. We went out to eat together for dinner. That evening we played the family game again, and Uncle David won. We also watched “Silverado.”

Brinkley was afraid of the water, but he was getting better about being in water and I have pictures to prove it.

Fun picture and commentary! Thanks.
Looks like it was a lot of fun!
Thanks for sharing. You left out the part where I won the family game one night.
Ha, ha! That’s right, you and Aunt Janice won the family game. I still have sand in my hair.
A good time was had by all.
