I have a second interview this Thursday for the position of teaching German at a Montessori school, 50 miles from our house. I need to think about whether the travel time and gas money is worth taking the job (if it is offered to me). I think it could be so fun and a great opportunity. The biggest possible obstacle, however, is whether I agree with the philosophy enough to teach there and get a Montessori Diploma. I would appreciate prayer as I think through these things between now and the interview. Thanks! I’ll keep you up to date on how it goes.
On another note, the job at the Creative Discovery museum was offered to someone else. I’m rather relieved, actually, because that’s one less option to think about and be overwhelmed with. So praise the Lord for closed doors đŸ˜€

I’ll be praying.
I’ll be praying
I’ll be praying, too.
You are in my prayers also. Grandpa Tom
It sounds like a cool opportunity. You are in my prayers!
Good News: I was offered the job and she said I was “a perfect fit.”
Disappointing News: The pay was a lot lower than I had anticipated, and after asking many questions, I still have a lot more to fully understand what my hours will be like and whether or not I’d get paid the whole year or not.
Thought-Provoking News: I’m still uncertain about the director’s philosophy of education. There are so many good things about it, but also some things that rather bother me a bit…
So, I’m very thoughtful about what I ought to do…sigh…God is good and I’m his daughter, so there’s nothing to worry about, but it really is easy to get anxious! Your prayers are greatly appreciated.
We planted our garden today! It looks really good, and I can’t wait to harvest our first crop!
What an honor to be called a “perfect fit”! I’ll pray that God will give you wisdom to make a decision. Is there the possibility of getting a raise within a year or two?
I’ll pray for your decision.
Yes, Seth, I do believe I should be able to get the Montessori Diploma within a year or two.
