I got a part-time job at Ruby Falls as a cashier, so now I’ll have some income––hooray! I will be oriented tomorrow for about 6 hours. According to the person that hired me, the hours are, for the long-term, unpredictable. This may prove to be a great challenge for me, because I’d like to have a set schedule.
I’m hoping to eventually get a better-paying job that is full-time and has regular hours. In light of those qualifications, I think I’d like to work as a teller in a bank. I’ve applied to a few banks already, and waiting for their reply…
Also, I will be buying a car! Once I start generating some income, I’ll purchase my parents’ red car. I’m quite excited!
There is a possibility of my getting another part-time job. I would be going into business for myself by becoming an Arbonne consultant. Arbonne is an all-natural cosmetic company. The consultants have spa-like parties to tell about the products, and train people who are interested in becoming consultants themselves. I went to one of these parties and was impressed at how non-pushy the consultant was. I met with her yesterday, and I found out that most of the consultants in this area are Christians. I really like the Arbonne products, but I’m not sure about being a salesperson. The first month you get like $20, but you can move up quickly in the company; it is possible to get $24,000/month in a year or two! So, I have to decide whether or not to try this venture or not…Has anyone heard of Arbonne?

The right job will come along, so do what is available for now. Grandpa Tom
Glad to hear about the job! Kristen knows something about Arbonne.
I hope you find what you want for a long-term, full-time job. I don’t know anything about Arbonne. But you don’t strike me as a big “cosmetics gal”. 🙂 I could see you promoting something like Juice Plus.
I’m things are starting to happen for you. I’ll keep praying!
