Janie and I will be traveling to Chapel Hill, NC next weekend to candidate at a church there. The church is Grace Community Church (PCA). We would appreciate your prayers for this trip – the preparations this week – and for God to make his path clear to us.

I have already been and will continue to pray! Too bad we’re moving away! But you’d be near the beach!!!!!!! 🙂 I LOVE the beach!
Exciting. Will be praying
I will be praying. Is it a senior pastor role?
Praying!
You may be sure that we will be praying for the Lord’s direction. We have been praying, for we felt that there was some place for you. You are not too old, just right! Dad & Judy
I’ll pray!
We will pray for a positive outcome.
It’s a solo pastor job – they have several staff, but none ordained
We had a great weekend in Chapel Hill. It was more positive than we could have hoped for. It was actually the first candidating process that was not awkward and stressful. We actually had a fun time, greatly enjoyed meeting the people there (including two classmates of Nathan at Covenant), and really fell in love with the area. We are hopeful that things will work out, but will have to pray and wait and see. We will hear next from them this Thursday after their next committee meeting. So keep praying…
I’m glad it was an easy process. I will continue to pray for the Lord’s will to be done.
It is good that you are encouraged with your weekend at Chapel Hill’ We will continue to pray that thsg will go well and that the Lord’s will will surely be done. Look forward to seeing you on the 14th, Dad
I’m glad to hear that you guys are excited! I will pray that God blesses you guys with the opportunity.
Does anyone else see the irony in us moving to Tennessee and ya’ll possibly moving to N.C.?
Yes, Uncle, David, I see the irony! How funny! I am so glad to hear that it went well. For some reason, I did not see this comment until today. Have you heard anything new yet?
