Visit with my adviser

by Gary on December 21, 2009

On the 17th I met with my dissertation adviser at George Washington University. The goal is to finish by June 1 and defend in July. Otherwise I would have to get an extension. My adviser agreed with me that I have enough data and that I have good enough reasons not to go back to collect more data. So that is a big positive. Even so, there’s a lot of work to be done to meet the July deadline. I need to have the draft version of Chapter 4 (showing my findings) by the first week of February. Then Chapter 5 (conclusions) by the end of March.

Thanks for your prayers.

That very thing has been part of my daily prayers for you and your family., and I will renew my efforts to do so. Look forward to seeing you , maybe on the 31st. We would like you to consider coming on the 31st no matter what and spend the night with us so we can be together on New Years Day. Our love to you Dad & Judy

Sounds exciting – glad for the progress – and the beginnings of the light at the end of the vast tunnel.
