Lissa got herself a car this past week. It’s a 1983 Austin Mini. Yes, it’s 4 years older than her. And it has more miles on it than anyone can count. She hopes to have her license in the next 4-6 weeks (you can pray for her about this)…and needs the car to “practice” in (since the engine on Janie’s car is too big for the insurance company to cover her). At 998cc, this engine isn’t too big! In fact, nothing is big on this car – but the “cool” factor.

Cool! What’s the screen in the middle?
Oh, that’ s her SatNav (GPS). It’s nearly impossible to drive here without one. Too many cars, turns, bends, people, and general chaos to be able to navigate to some place new and drive at the same time. Even Brits all have them. It didn’t come with the car, however, she had to get her own.
I really like it!

Ooooh, that is so cool!
It’s so cute! I’ll be praying about your license, Melissa.

That is a really cool car (I bet it rides better than the RV)!
James…it bounces just as much as the RV. The only real suspension in those things in the air in the tires. It’s like riding a go cart – only much faster!
