Today at Covenant we have a “Day of Prayer.” It is a day off of classes to focus on prayer. It is nice–I have been alone all morning which is a bit sad, but it has been good, too.
School has been challenging (as usual). However, I am still struggling with what I always seem to struggle with when school starts. I am not sure what it is, but I seem to lack focus when I am reading one thing because I am thinking about all the other things I have to do. I feel I could be learning a lot more if I could just focus. I often forget to (or don’t know how to) enjoy the process of learning things. Sometimes I think I need to extrovert my thoughts a bit more so I can understand it better. I am not sure. Anyway, there is my school struggle!
Andrea and I are alone this week because Dad and Mom are in NY giving a personality seminar my Uncle Kirk and Aunt Linda’s church. They get back next Thursday or so. It is fun to hold the fort down, but we miss them a lot, too. Andrea and I want to do more cooking/baking in the evenings and we have begun to listent o “Treasure Island” by Robert Louis Stevenson on audio.
The weather here has been very, very lovley! Crisp, cool, breezy, clear–it makes me so, so happy.
This weekend Andrea and I are hosting Peanut Butter Party with some of our friends. It’s going to be so fun! I have done this at least once a year since I have been at Covenant. We just eat peanut butter things for dinner and dessert and then we play games and such.
So, that’s my life right now!

Hmm. Peanut butter. . .I think I’ll have some!
Do you like peanut butter a lot, too? Do you have favorite peanut butter recipes or ways of eating it?
Sounds fun
Peanut butter and octupus…
Hee, hee! I guess the peanut butter is what has stood out to most people.
I’m sorry school is not enjoyable. I hope it becomes so!
