Hello family! Just a quick note to say I’ve found a job! I just finished my second day of training today at Olive Garden as a saute cook. The restaurant is about 30 minutes away, but they pay well and can give me 40 hours so that’s good. The actual job isn’t difficult, but I have a lot to memorize. When the order comes on the screen I need to know all the ingredients, what order to cook them, how much of the ingredients, what pasta goes with them and then who to hand the dish to next to finish it. It’s a little overwhelming at the minute, but once I memorize it all I know that I will be able to do it and enjoy it! Thank you all for your prayers and continue to pray as I try and get settled in quickly!

Hurray! I am happy for you. I will pray that you will learn it quickly without frying your brain! While in school, I know what it is like to try to put so much knowledge in my brain so that it feels muddled and tired.
