Happenings

I begin classes at Covenant College on the 27th of August–next week! I am working quite a bit at the Covenant College Bookstore since we are very busy with new students (who are coming tomorrow-yikes!) and returning students. I am taking 13 credit hours this semester. I am taking Hermeneutics, Darwin, Chorale, voice lessons, 20th century World History, and Outreach to Contemporary Culture. I am looking forward to it all! But at the same time, I am enjoying the relaxing pace of my one week of summer left. Last weekend we went to visit Seth in St. Louis (I forgot to bring my camera  ), and we had a very fun time. We got to meet and re-meet Seth’s friends and we went to the Botanical Gardens. One of my favorite things of the Gardens was the Chocolate flower, which was a yellow flower that actually smelled like chocolate! That was really, really weird and cool. How’s everyone else?

We start school this week too. Yesterday officially. Today is our first day with the Gileskirk group. I can relate to giving up the slow pace of summer. I do feel for me, its a good challenge, though. It causes me to do more and be more organized than I normally would, which for me is a good thing. But we have to leave in 40 min. and I haven’t even had a bath yet. See ya!
