For those who might not know, I am currently in Michigan at a physics conference. On Tuesday we went on an excursion to Lake Michigan. One of the places we went was called Sleeping Bear Dunes. The dunes were HUGE, bigger than the ones in Chile. The one we went to was probably about 500 feet above the water. I went down to the water with some others, but it was quite tiring coming back up. I didn’t care, though, because I was so happy to be on some big dunes. Here are some pictures.

Very cool.
Very Pretty! They almost look scary because they are so steep!
Wow!
Looks fun!
WOAH! Granulated Awesomeness! I’m glad you had a good time. Was the water cold?
Wow, that’s beautiful… it makes me want to travel!
I agree with Aunt Janice that it looks steep and scary! But fun, too 😀
How fun!
I’m jealous! I can’t believe they’re taller than the ones in Chile.
I thought they were scary looking too but beautiful.
the picture with your arms out makes it look like you are about to cartwheel your way down the dunes. I wonder what going down in a barrel would be like…
