While Seth was visiting we taped him singing this song that he wrote. Hopefully he will post the words–and the English translation.

Wow, that’s great, Seth! The only words I could pick out for sure were “la muerte,” but I’m sure there’s more to the song than death 🙂 I can’t wait to read the translation!
That’s great, only I can’t understand it. 🙂
Here is the English translation
BUT THOSE WHO WAIT
Is life a journey, or is everything meaningless
Is there something beyond this Earth or is death the end?
We all have hopes and dreams,
But is this world all that there is?
Chorus
But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength,
They will fly, they will run, they will walk
Without growing weary
Your love sustains me, Jesus
Searching in this world I cannot find
A joy that refreshes, that strengthens my being
The things of this world do not satisfy my soul
Where do I find the peace to continue?
Chorus
I want dwell in the house of God, and with His people
Because His love is better than life.
If you are wandering, you are in darkness.
You will not arrive. But there is a light,
it comes from Jesus, who through the Cross
can make you free.
You are my hope and my liberty,
And you have the victory over death.
Chorus
Here is the original version:
MAS LOS QUE ESPERAN
Es la vida un viaje o es todo vanidad
Hay algo mas allá o es la muerte el fin?
Todos tenemos suenos y anhelos,
Pero es este mundo todo lo quy hay?
Coro:
Mas los que esperan en el Señor,
Nuevas fuerzas tendrán.
Volarán, correrán, caminarán, sin fatigar.
Tu amor me sostiene, Jesús.
Oscuridad. No llegarás
Pero hay una luz, viene de Jesús;
Quien por la cruz, te puede librar.
Tu eres mi esperanza, y me libertad
No hay nadie como tu, como tu
Y tu tienes la victora sobre la muerte
This is a song that I started writing when I was
sixteen or so, but I didn’t finish it until recently
I think this song is beautiful, both in words and musical composition!
Audrey’s words exactly!
