Miller Family Update

by Kristen on April 20, 2009

Happy spring time everyone! We recently spent some vacation time at Adam’s parent’s house, north of Pittsburgh. They have a small bit of property and keep goats, sheep, and chickens. We got to watch the animals come out of the barn and into the pasture for the first time since being kept in the barn for the winter. It was the first time ever for the kids and lambs. The girls LOVED petting the baby animals! Adam and the boys got the fun job of shoveling out all of the manure and spreading it out in the garden. What a help they were! In the evenings, we enjoyed playing games and watching The Barchester Chronicles. Has anyone else seen that?

Here, at home, we’re all doing well. God has blessed Adam with steady work. My work is going well, but I’m losing a client at the end of the school year(his mom was laid off and may just stay home with him) and am now looking for a replacement. Adam hasn’t been able to do anything with the garden yet, but that is coming up soon. He and the boys continue to have jam sessions together. Joe is enjoying his first season of baseball. The girls just keep getting bigger.  Lilly thinks she can do everything Ginny does, and she just about can! I can’t believe she’s going to be two this summer and Ginny will be four in the fall! Guess it’s good timing for our new little one, coming in late October. 🙂

Thanks! No, it’s too soon to tell. I’m only 13 weeks right now.

So glad that you had a vacation time with Adam’s folks. I know that the “farm” was a happy place for it. It’s so different from what you have at home. Congratulations on your new addition. We will pray that God keeps you healthy through out the whole time. Grandpa Tom & Grandma Judy

Great news. Hannah Phillips Hauser just had twins and her sister Abigail Phillips Toro just found out she is pregnant also and I think she is also due in Oct.

Thanks for the update! How fun to be on a farm! Wow, I can’t believe how old your girls are, either! And hooray for another one!

It’s great to hear about what you all are up to. Congratulations! I am happy for you all!

My Dad, Micah and I have seen Barchester Chronicles and I got it for my birthday! Maybe we could watch it at a family reunion 🙂

What did you think of Barchester Chronicles?

I enjoyed the Barchester Chronicles. I liked the story and it was interesting to watch a movie that concerned the goings on of the Church of England at that time.
