Hope you have a wonderful day celebrating in a special way the resurrection of Christ and our own hope of resurrection. It’s the sure hope that changes everything!

He is risen indeed! We had a great worship service this am. We are playing trivial pursuit now! Missing Rocky.

We have had a nice relaxing day. We watched a 1950’s movie and then sat on the porch and played sequence. It has been a good reminder day.

This morning our pastor spoke about the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. I would’ve loved to hear Jesus explain how the Old Testament pointed to himself!

Our church had a breakfast together. During the service I was downstairs helping out with the 2 and 3 year olds. I brought my guitar, and for the last 20 minutes I led the kids in some simple Bible songs, such as “Jesus loves me, this I know.” At one point some of the kids started dancing! It was fun to see them get into the music.

I wanted to teach them the Obedience song that Mommom wrote, but I couldn’t remember all the words. All I remember is “O-B-E-D-I-E-N-C-E is a word that everyone should know….it means that you do what the Lord commands every moment of everyday, whatever you DO whatever you SAY, the secret is to obey!” Poppop, do you think you could send me the words? How do I get access to the words of Mommom’s other songs?

Seth, I think those might be all of the words. Then you repeat it. At least that’s what I remember too.

We had 14 people over for the noon meal. Before that we had a very good message from Greg (our intern) on the resurrection. Seth, I will get you words and music for that song and many others. Grandpa Tom

I spent the day with my Mom’s side of the family in DE. I had a good time with them and enjoyed being with some family over Easter!
