Katie, how did the play go? Was it recorded? I wish we could have seen it live!
How’s the actress?

Well from Dad and Mom’s perspective it went really well and Katie did great. I understand the play was recorded and we’ll be sure to get copies. They all put a lot of time in practicing this past week and then there was one performance on Friday and two on Saturday. Since it was held at a local school they had to dismantle everything after the play. By the time we got home it was 11:30 PM and then we went to Applebee’s to get something to eat. Adam and Kristen and Nathan went on opening night, as did Mom and I. Mom was at all the performances and I and Eric came to the last and by far the best one.

Oh good, I am so glad we’ll get to see it!
Sounds as though it was a tiring weekend, in a very good way 😀
yes, it was so much fun to do! I wasn’t even very nervous really. It seemed just like another rehearsal, except we weren’t interrupted by Mr. Deen with suggestions about ways to do it better, and that we knew if anything went wrong, we’d have to think fast to fix it. I think that was the worst part, worrying about missing a line or having our mics conk out on us. No one forgot lines though, or if they did, it was too small to notice. At least two people did have trouble with their mics though. They didn’t have time to fix them before they had to go on, so they were practically shouting their lines so that people could hear them.
This play was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. I am really sorry it’s over already. I’m ready to start work on the next play!
I am so happy you enjoyed it! Well done.
Cool! How fun. I can’t wait to see it.
