So was it this morning (Tuesday) he died or was it Monday morning?

I guess it’s been pretty hard for him to breathe for a while now?

Gary, what did he have?

Dad, how did your trip go?

Phyllis and I watched the slideshow. It was very nicely done. What is the initial picture of a farmhouse. Is that where he has been living?

The link dad gave has a “photo tribute video”, but you have to look for it. You can find it here. (Click on the word “here.”)

I got home last night (Saturday) from Minnesota. On Friday, the day of the funeral, it was -18 degrees. I talked with a cousin that I had never met before. His name is Arlo McKim, a son of my uncle Arlo. Johnny Musser, my cousin Olive’s oldest son was there as were Karen and Gordie Landwher. Karen is my brother Albert’s daughter. The funeral was well attended and an Evangelical Lutheran minister gave a good message emphasizing that the God of Creation is also the God of recreation. I stayed with my sister Mildred and had a good time with her. I’m home, but have a bad cold. Dad & Grandpa

Thanks for the update. Is Judy better yet, or do you both have a cold?

Judy is much better. She went to church today. Do you see any resemblance between us in the slide presentation? Dad

I see a resemblance – especially the head shot at the beginning and on the beginning of the funeral website.

Yes, I noted a resemblance in some pictures of Arlo.

I remember Uncle Arlo from when he was in his early 20’s and I was just a little girl. Seeing the pictures made me sad that the family all went there own ways over time and that I didn’t really know him.

I agree, Sharon. We should make sure we don’t like that happen in our family.
