Prayer into song

by sejwa on November 16, 2008

I finished composing a song. Many months ago I was praying and a tune came to mind. So what started as a prayer turned into a song. The name of the song is called ‘Overflow’ for now.

Very nice. I like it! John 7:37-39 is one of my favorite passages of Scripture.

Thank you for encouraging words. I do have other pieces in the making. The only problem is that writing one song takes so long. Although I had the tune immediately, it took me almost a year, I think, to write the words.

Beautiful…from the songs you have written I think this is one of my favorites-it is in close competition with your first Spanish song and “Tree-jumper.” I suppose they are all different genres and it is hard to decipher a preference 🙂
