Just wanted to let you know that we will be near Chattanooga this Friday for a football game. The boys play in Cleveland (the same place as before). The game starts at 7:00 if anyone can come. The following week we are supposed to be near Greensboro, NC (though the game may end up being cancelled – we played that team this past weekend and beat them 66-0 – and they got a bit dirty in their play as the game went on, so they are evaluating whether it would be wise or not). If the boys win this Friday, they will be going to the State playoffs – quite an accomplishment for a second year team that was winless last season. The team has game highlights on line here .

We have been planning to go. Can you remind us how to get there? This is what I found in a previous post. Is this accurate?
Directions: Take I-75 north to the Charleston exit (past all the Cleveland exits…I think it’s exit 33). Turn right and go to the T junction (which is Hwy 11 – Lee Highway). Turn left. The field is a half a mile or so on the left. Parking is just past the field.
Oh, I hope we get to see them play! Its too bad things got ugly, but I’m not surprised…I remember that team from the last time we were there.
What jersey numbers are Caleb, Josh and Slick?
Where will the state playoffs be?
Caleb is #26.
Josh is #73.
Slick is #4.
The state playoffs will most likely be in Nashville (that’s where the guys who make the decisions live, and they HATE to drive to NE TN).
Gary, those directions sound right. I’ll double check, but I think that’s right.
