Phyllis and I went to St. Louis last weekend to visit one of our supporting churches. We arrived Saturday at 5:30. At 6:30 we went out to a Brazilian restaurant with the missions committee. On Sunday morning I had a three minute talk. It seems strange to give us such a short time, but I try to make it a three minutes they won’t forget and that will edify them. At lunch there were several people who had questions about our ministry. In the evening we spoke to a small group of the church. On Monday night we met with about 15 people who are involved in missions in their church. We never did talk to the head pastor. We also got to look around Washington University and took some pictures. That was Monday afternoon. We arrived home Tuesday at 1:30 PM.

Sounds familiar. I remember the time I flew across country to Sacramento just for one church, and was told (as I was walking down the aisle with the pastor), “you’ve got 30 seconds.” At least there were 3 services. So that gave me 90 seconds!
What! That is incredible, flabbergasting! I am quite put out.
