I am going to ask you guys to pray for a few things tonight and tomorrow morning. As many of you know, I had a meeting with my boss today and I was planning on asking him the status of my promotional packet that was turned in June of last year. Well he got back with me, but the news was not what I hoped. He returned my packet for updating as it had been sometime since I had completed it. He wanted to make certain that recent events were on the application as well. When I returned it to him I asked him if this update meant that nothing had been done yet on the application. He pretty much told me that this was the case. I was so angry and upset that I just left his office. I really couldn’t trust myself to say anything at the moment.
Now it comes to the actual requests. As we had a small electrical fire yesterday that prevented us from being able to work most of yesterday, they have asked us to come in tomorrow morning. So I would ask for prayer:
1) That my anger would subside, and
2) Than when I speak with my manager again about this tomorrow (assuming I am not angry) that I will be able to have a rational conversation that expresses my displeasure with the situation whilst not burning any bridges.

so sorry to hear how they are treating you. I would echo the sentiments of Phyllis and I’ll pray that you’ll be able to balance that fine line between stating your disappointment and being grateful for the job you have.
